Technical Support Engineer

ACUSIM Software, Inc. is looking for a smart, energetic, and self motivated technical support engineer to join our staff in the Clifton Park, NY office.
This is a full-time salaried position with competitive pay and benefits. The position is ideal for candidates with strong problem solving skills, an excellent knowledge of fluid mechanics, and a desire to work in a dynamic environment.
This position is a unique opportunity to work with users and developers of advanced CFD technology in a leading commercial software company. The primary role of this position is to provide technical support to users of AcuSolve, the CFD software developed by ACUSIM Software. This involves giving advice to users on the proper modeling techniques for complex analyses, as well as troubleshooting any problems that may be encountered. In addition to providing first-line customer support, the position involves the development of tutorials, web based videos, and documentation for the software.
The successful candidate will also participate in paid consulting projects involving CFD applications, customization and CAE automation, sales support, and on-site training classes.
