ACUSIM releases all new Pre-Processor AcuConsole

October 1, 2006, Mountain View, CA: AcuConsoleâ„¢, the all new pre-processor for AcuSolveâ„¢, has been released as part of general AcuSolveâ„¢ distribution.

AcuConsole main features include:

  • Import CAD, Mesh and Input Files:
    • CAD: Parasolid, ProE (Windows only), ACIS, Discrete
    • Raw mesh (from ICEM-CFD, Harpoon, Gmsh, and others)
    • AcuSolve input file (.inp)
    • Third party files: Fluent case file, SDRC IDeas, and all others supported by acuImport.
  • Generate mesh from CAD
    • Auto tet mesh generator
    • Boundary layer mesher
    • Built on top of MeshSimâ„¢ from Simmetrix
  • Setup a complete AcuSolve problem
    • Specify global parameters: equations, material models, etc.
    • Group volume and surface into logical sets
    • Apply physics and boundary conditions to the groups
  • User customized menus, to facilitate problem setup
  • Generate AcuSolve .inp file and launch AcuSolve
  • Monitor solution via acuProbe
