ACUSIM releases all new Pre-Processor AcuConsole

October 1, 2006, Mountain View, CA: AcuConsoleâ„¢, the all new pre-processor for AcuSolveâ„¢, has been released as part of general AcuSolveâ„¢ distribution.
AcuConsole main features include:
- Import CAD, Mesh and Input Files:
- CAD: Parasolid, ProE (Windows only), ACIS, Discrete
- Raw mesh (from ICEM-CFD, Harpoon, Gmsh, and others)
- AcuSolve input file (.inp)
- Third party files: Fluent case file, SDRC IDeas, and all others
supported by acuImport.
- Generate mesh from CAD
- Auto tet mesh generator
- Boundary layer mesher
- Built on top of MeshSimâ„¢ from Simmetrix
- Setup a complete AcuSolve problem
- Specify global parameters: equations, material models, etc.
- Group volume and surface into logical sets
- Apply physics and boundary conditions to the groups
- User customized menus, to facilitate problem setup
- Generate AcuSolve .inp file and launch AcuSolve
- Monitor solution via acuProbe
